A major redevelopment project in downtown Montreal is entering its final stages as the Armoyan family approaches completion of one of the city\u2019s largest office-to-residential conversions. The transformation is part of a broader strategy to reposition older office properties for housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project converts the former Standard Life office tower at 1245 Sherbrooke Street West<\/strong> into residential housing under the name Le Samuel<\/strong>. The redevelopment represents a significant shift for the property, replacing traditional office space with new homes in downtown Montreal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The building\u2019s structure and layout helped make the conversion possible. Features such as large windows and a design that allows open interior spaces made it suitable for residential redevelopment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once completed, the project will mark a major milestone for the developers and reflects a growing trend of adapting older office buildings into housing as cities rethink how downtown spaces are used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
